The Bedazzled Nashville Progressive Dinner For Eight: Food, Wine, Limo, and Songwriters!

The art of the “Progressive Dinner” has just been elevated, with an embellishment that only Music City can offer! The high bidder of this lot is bringing seven friends to not only experience an elegant evening that includes a multi-course meal paired with exclusive wines and limousine service between homes, but the group will also work with award-winning Nashville songwriters, Anna Wilson and Monty Powell, to write an original song over the course of the evening. This all goes down on Friday, March 27!

Anna and Monty have written a dozen Number One songs for Keith Urban, Lady A, Tim McGraw, and are also featured on more than 70 million records sold worldwide. They have co-produced unique projects that pay tribute to the Eagles, Billy Joel, the Countrypolitan era of music, and penned the theme song for Habitat for Humanity International. This husband-and-wife team is a personal and professional match that could only be made in Music City!

Expertly juggling the preparation of one meal in three different locations will be Nashville Wine Auction favorite, Chef Burke Conley.

House #1 The progressive dinner begins at the lovely home of Denise Cummins with a Champagne toast and appetizers. Over bubbly, the group will work with Anna and Monty to come up with the song title and the first verse of their masterpiece.

House #2
Following a quick limousine ride, the group, along with the songwriters will advance to the next stop, the home of Gary Rzucidlo. There they will be served the main course of the meal. During this phase the group will discuss and co-write the chorus and second verse.

House #3
Ride to the third home, belonging to Rahel Klapheke Sloan and Jim Sloan, for the finishing touch on the evening. Here the group will enjoy dessert and a cheese plate, accompanied by a house concert with their new best friends, Anna and Monty. They will experience their #1 hits, the stories behind the songs, and of course, the world premiere of the original song written progressively over the course of the evening.

But that’s not all… After everyone comes down off writing an original song with Grammy award-winning songwriters and enjoying great food and wine, Anna and Monty will make a professional master recording of the progressive song. Something fun for guests to share at their next dinner party!
