Since its inception in 1980, Nashville Wine Auction has raised more than $43 million for organizations whose purpose is directly related to cancer research, innovative patient treatment, and caregiver/patient support. Our single objective is generating as much money as possible for cancer-related programs.

Meet board member Rachel Mitchell 🥂

As a doctor at Tennessee Oncology, Rachel serves patients in the Nashville and Shelbyville clinics. She holds a medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science, where she specialized in oncology.

"As a medical oncologist, I have the privilege of caring for cancer patients and their families as they navigate a difficult journey. I am honored to be joining Nashville Wine Auction's Board of Directors, a wonderful organization which raises funds for something everyone can get behind- funding the fight against cancer. Nashville Wine Auction's fundraisers combine great people, great wine and great fun, all for a worthy cause. It is truly rewarding to see how Nashville Wine Auction's work impacts my patients' lives as they navigate through their cancer journey!"

Cheers to an incredible afternoon reliving the Judgment of Paris 🥂

This once-in-a-lifetime re-enactment transported guests back to 1976, judging wines mirroring those poured at the original competition. And the results were mixed, giving highest marks to a Californian White and French Red. ⤵️

Postcard from Paris 🍷 Limited seats remain for the 50th anniversary reenactment of The Judgment of Paris!

On May 24, 1976, American wines — then largely dismissed by the European establishment — triumphantly bested France’s finest. That single event, forever known as the Judgment of Paris, redefined the global wine landscape.

Now, exactly 50 years later, you have the rare opportunity to taste what that day may have been like by participating in this iconic re-enactment tasting… Not as a spectator, but as a judge! While each wine vintage presents the characteristic of the year, the tasting will faithfully honor the original vintners and rules of the contest with vintages 50 years from the original tasting.

Karen MacNeil, one of the world’s most influential wine authorities and the author of The Wine Bible, will serve as moderator for the event.

What a wonderful evening for The Grandest Celebration of Grand Cru 🥂

Guests enjoyed a tasting featuring two of Burgundy’s most celebrated Grand Cru Producers: Bonneau du Martray and Clos de Tart. What an honor to welcome Mary Margaret McCamic (one of 52 Masters of Wine in the U.S.) as our grand guest of honor. It’s a night we won’t soon forget!
