Dining with Domaine de Chevalier and the Maître

After l’Eté du Vin, it’s probably expected that many of our guests will be going through some Domaine de Chevalier withdrawals. Not to worry for the lucky bidders who won a seat at this dinner on November 1, 2024.  The don’t have to wait long to get your fix! The hosts for the evening are none other than Janice and David Morgan, and they’ve selected a few bottles from their personal collection for the evening’s festivities. David serves as the Maître for the Nashville Chapter of the Commanderie de Bordeaux so there is no one better to share insights on these wines!

This splendid event takes place on Friday, November 1, at 360 Bistro, with our favorite Chef Sean Foley.

The wine lineup includes iconic vintages of Domaine de Chevalier such as the nearly perfect 2018 (and a 2019 Blanc for good measure), bookended by Champagne and Sauternes, naturally. Chef Foley is armed and ready to prepare the ideal pairing.

We won’t bore you with a lengthy description of the estate’s history or tell you how great it is . . .  the fact that Chevalier has never abandoned the name of “domaine” in favor of the more recent appellation “château” is proof enough of the estate’s long history.
