Class 3 Advanced Pinot Noir & Chardonnay Study with Professor Steve Taylor

Alright folks, we’re going back to school! Lucky for you, in this school, we drink wine.
You may have taken a Pinot Noir/Chardonnay 101 course before, but we’re leveling up with this one. Professor Steve
Taylor has put together a comprehensive study of these two varietals that puts a Master Somm Diploma course to
shame. This is the first class in a series of three distinct courses to further your proficiency and palate when it comes to California Pinot Noir and Chardonnay!
Below is a breakdown of the third and final class with the wines you’ll be tasting in this class.
Class #3: Pinot Noir Across AVAs
Professor Steve has selected bottles from across six different AVAs in California. Students will get to compare and contrast different flavor profiles while learning about the distinct terroir that makes each AVA unique.
- Anderson Valley – DuPuis Le Benedict Pinot Noir 2019
- Carneros – Hyde De Villaine Ygnacia Pinot Noir 2020
- Fort Ross/Seaview – Peter Michael Le Caprice Pinot Noir 2021
