Back To Bourdeaux: A 25-Year Celebration Of Monumental 2000 Vintage

Some vintages are special. Others are monumental — and the 2000 Bordeaux vintage is exactly that. Widely hailed as a modern classic, these wines combined power, structure, and age-worthiness in a way that immediately captured the imagination of collectors and critics alike.

In 2016, the Nashville Wine Auction honored this iconic vintage with “A Monumental Tasting.” Now, nearly a decade later, we’re going back to Bordeaux — this time for a silver anniversary celebration of these extraordinary wines with none other than David Morgan, Maître of the Commanderie de Bordeaux. With his deep knowledge and engaging storytelling, David will guide guests through the terroir, legacy, and legends behind each bottle, adding rich context to every sip.

Hosted at Hal’s The Steakhouse, this intimate dinner for 20 guests will feature a four-course feast to showcase this extraordinary lineup. The dinner will begin with a celebratory Champagne toast of Charles Heidsieck Brut 2013, move on to Nashville Wine Auction favorite Domaine de Chevalier Blanc 2019, and finish with the decadent 1988 Château Rieussec. In between, feast your eyes on these gorgeous 2000 Bordeaux!
