The Progression to Debauchery

Winning bidders will begin their progressive dinner journey at the home of Lisa & David for hors d’oeuvres. And for starters, we couldn’t begin our night without some champagne and caviar, could we? Thanks to Scotti Stark for providing some beautiful selections!  While there, the group will collaborate among themselves.  Assignment number 1:  choose delegates who – with your influence – will select 5 bottles of Cabernet to enjoy with dinner. Once everyone has had your fill of bubbles, our trusty transportation team will take everyone and those chosen bottles door to door to continue the night!

Next stop, the home of Rahel & Jim where guests will continue their quest with an amazing, coursed dinner.  Assignment number 2:  they take their pick of a variety of our hostesses’ favorite French whites including Burgundies, Bordeaux Blancs and possibly a Sancerre or two! Chef Kevin Ramquist and the Sloans will have a walk-around style first course in the main level of their home including seafood and cheeses, perfect to pair alongside those delicious whites!

Assignment number 3: find the secret location for the rest of the meal (hint, it’s in the basement). Now the real debauchery can begin with a 3-course seated dinner from one of our favorite Chefs and remember those Cabernets you chose? Well, we’re putting them in the lineup with dinner alongside some fabulous Pinot Noirs provided by Scotti!

And just when you think you have sipped to your heart’s content, dessert will be served with bourbons and more as David is pulling out all the stops – nothing under 15 years old on the bourbon front to end the evening.
