Class 2 Advanced Pinot Noir & Chardonnay Study with Professor Steve Taylor

Alright folks, we’re going back to school! Lucky for you, in this school, we drink wine.

You may have taken a Pinot Noir/Chardonnay 101 course before, but we’re leveling up with this one. Professor Steve
Taylor has put together a comprehensive study of these two varietals that puts a Master Somm Diploma course to
shame. This is the first class in a series of three distinct courses to further your proficiency and palate when it comes to California Pinot Noir and Chardonnay!

Below is a breakdown of the second class along with the wines you’ll be tasting in this class.

Class #2: Two Producers—One AVA
This tasting will focus on a comparison of Kosta Browne versus Littorai. Both among the most renowned producers in California, they are right down the road from one another in Sebastopol, yet they have such different wines. The leaner, terroir-driven wines of Littorai compared to the rich, fruit-forward Pinot Noirs of Kosta Browne. Professor Steve will take the group through the similarities and differences of these two producers.
