Robinson Family Vineyards
Longtime Napa Valley residents, Tom and Susie Robinson-Jinks, proudly carry on the Robinson Family Vineyards legacy which began in 1967 when Susie’s parents, retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Bud Robinson and his wife, Helen, purchased the 78 acre property in what is now known as the renowned Stags Leap District.
Convinced in 1970 to plant the property to vineyards by friends and neighbors, including wine-industry pioneers Nathan Fay and Father Tom Turnbull, Robinson Family Vineyards was born and, with it, the rich tradition in family winemaking that exists to this day.
Under our flagship Robinson Family label, we specialize in the five classic Bordeaux varietals such as Cabernet, Merlot Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petite Verdot, varietals for which the Stags Leap District is broadly celebrated.
Great Legs, was developed by our three daughters Carrie, Kim and Robin and represents the more playful side of the family.
All of Robinson Family Vineyard’s small-production wines are crafted with the passion, care and precision that comes from family ownership.
