  • Volunteer Guidelines

    Thank you for your commitment to participate with us. The support of our beneficiaries would not be possible without volunteers. In order to ensure our event is enjoyable for all, it is important that all volunteers observe the following guidelines.  More specific guidelines will be provided closer to the event.

    I.             Professional Conduct:  Volunteers are representatives of Nashville Wine Auction. Please be respectful of other volunteers, guests, venues, and the charities we represent. Volunteers are asked to refrain from drinking or using profanity while representing Nashville Wine Auction.

    II.         Prompt and Reliable:  It is important that volunteers be prompt and arrive no later than the time indicated in the Volunteer Team Instructions. We hope you will make your commitment to us a priority. Dependable volunteers ensure the success of our fundraising efforts.  

    III.          Appropriate Dress:  Each event requires a dress code, provided in the Volunteer Job Descriptions. Please review your job description carefully and dress accordingly.

    IV.        Personal Belongings:  Nashville Wine Auction cannot be held responsible for the safety of your personal belongings. Do not bring personal items to the event.

    V.         Arrival and Check-In:  When arriving at the venue, please go directly to the Volunteer Registration/Check-in Desk. A nametag will be provided and must be worn during your shift.

    VI.        Check-Out:  When your shift ends, please go to the Volunteer Check-Out area, return your nametag, and complete a Volunteer Evaluation.

    VII.       Smile and Have FUN! Your efforts are greatly appreciated!

  • Volunteer Contract

    In order to volunteer with Nashville Wine Auction, each volunteer must complete and return this form prior to volunteering.

    Volunteers should read this contract very carefully before signing. Should you have questions or uncertainties regarding this contract, please address them with the volunteer coordinator to ensure full understanding and agreement with Nashville Wine Auction. This form when signed is applicable as of the date signed below and until further notice.

    Release and Waiver of Liability:

    This Release and Waiver of Liability (the "Release") is signed by the Volunteer below for Nashville Wine Auction. Nashville Wine Auction is a Tennessee nonprofit 501c3 organization created and existing under the laws of the state of Tennessee.

    1.Waiver and Release:  I, the volunteer, release and forever discharge and hold harmless Nashville Wine Auction and its successors from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or may hereafter, arise from my volunteer work at Nashville Wine Auction events. I, the volunteer understand and acknowledge that this Release discharges Nashville Wine Auction from any liability or claim that I, the volunteer may have against Nashville  Wine Auction with the respect to bodily injury,  personal injury, illness, or property damage that may result from participation in Nashville Wine Auction events.  I understand that Nashville Wine Auction does not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide financial assistance or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health, or disability insurance in the event of injury, illness, or property damage.

    2. Disclosure:  I understand Nashville Wine Auction reserves the right to change or alter my volunteer position and team as needed.

    3. Theft: It is further agreed that any type of theft, whether physical or intellectual is strictly forbidden and will result in prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.

    4. Age: I am 21 years or older.

    I acknowledge I have read and understand the Volunteer Contract.
