When Fred and Mary Constant purchased a plot of overgrown land straddling the Sonoma and Napa County line in 1993, they dreamed of building an oasis. What they quickly realized, however, is that they stumbled upon a truly unique and special plot of land. And boy, did they succeed. Fred sadly passed in 2014, but his legacy lives on with each incredible vintage.
Diamond Mountain Vineyard continues to showcase the unique characteristics of each vineyard block. This is your opportunity to taste the breadth of Diamond Mountain Vineyard wines. From their 100% varietals, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, to their Claret and Rhône-style blends, Diamond Mountain Vineyards utilize their highly concentrated mountain fruit to create microclimate-specific wines that are as unique as they are delicious. There are not a lot of Napa wineries making premium Cabernet Francs that are 100% varietal, and none that make them as good as DMV.

Sourced from different vineyard blocks to create the perfect balance of fruit, structure and acid this wine is the backbone of our estate.

Thriving in the morning sunlight and extended, cool growing season, our 2.5 acres produce a 100% Cabernet Franc. Known for its purity, elegance, luscious texture and balanced acidity, this wine is the perfect example of how beautiful this varietal can be.
