Immerse yourself in luxury! With this trip, three lucky couples will call the immaculate Stanly Ranch, of the Auberge Resorts Collection, home for four nights. Located at the gateway to Sonoma and Napa Valley, Stanly Ranch, is a destination in and of itself. There, an active ranch complements an exhilarating culinary program, exclusive wines, and the discovery of local artisans, while total wellbeing experiences unearth the full potential of every guest. Winery appointments from both Napa and Sonoma along with a driver for three days of tasting appointments round out this spectacular offering.
Day One:
Arrive in Napa to your spectacular home away from home, Stanly Ranch. Surrounded by rolling vineyards with expansive views of the Mayacamas mountains, the newest member of the Auberge Resort Collection reimagines the Napa lifestyle in a multifaceted celebration of curiosity, exploration, and adventure across 712 heirloom acres. You’ll marvel at this destination in the heart of wine country, that celebrates the romance of connecting with family and friends in a setting that’s steeped in winery estate tradition, inspired by the beauty of the land, and infused with a fresh, convivial spirit allowing you to explore the adventures of Napa Valley.
There are many things to explore in Napa, however on this first day, you can just relax and enjoy all that the resort has to offer. And while there are a handful of eateries on property, you’ll want to be sure and eat at Bear. Bear is the keystone of Stanly Ranch’s culinary offering, serving to connect creation with consumption. Bear is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, each meal spotlighting a menu of inspired, elemental cooking. Rumor has it, it is amazing!
Day Two:
Today your driver will arrive to whisk you away to a special experience at Domaine Carneros! In addition to a private tour hosted by the winemaker you’ll partake in the Bubbles and Bites tasting! Explore the versatility of sparkling wine in this curated Food & Wine Pairing. Taste a seasonal menu of four savory and one sweet bite, each of which has been specially designed to pair with four of their top-rated Carneros Sparkling Wines – Ultra Brut, Estate Brut Cuvée, Brut Rosé, and Verméil Demi-Sec. Open your eyes to a new side of Sparkling wine!
Your second stop is a short drive to Hyde Vineyard Estate. Founded by Larry Hyde in 1979, Hyde Vineyard produces some of the most coveted grapes in Napa Valley. Start with the Chardonnay and take a stroll through the vineyards, by the pond, and through production as you make your way to the barrel room. You’ll find yourself at a table where you’ll taste four additional acclaimed, estate-grown wines, paired with curated bites.
Day Three:
Head to The Ackerman Heritage House to step back into the historic era of Napa to enjoy artisan wines from Ackerman Family Vineyards. Guests enjoy a historical tour of the restored 1888 Queen Anne Victorian home followed by a seated tasting of Ackerman Family Vineyards current release wines. While learning about the history and unique winemaking style, the tasting features their inaugural Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the Certified Organic Stonehaven Vineyard in Napa Valley’s Coombsville appellation, in addition to a few delicious red blends.
Next you’ll love the private tour and tasting at Hendry Ranch Vineyard and Winery. Hendry Ranch is composed of 203 acres situated in the low, rolling hills just northwest of Napa, at the foot of Mt. Veeder, and includes 114 acres under vine. This location in the valley experiences substantial marine influence, allowing many different types of wine grapes to grow. All Hendry wines are made only from estate grapes. Through more than eighty years of harvests, they are crafted to highlight the unique terroir of this very special vineyard. You’ll love the private tour and tasting at Hendry.
Since you are hanging around in Napa, why not join PATEL Napa Valley for a tasting, followed by dinner at a Napa Valley Steakhouse. This is a rare opportunity to join vintner Raj Patel to explore the past, present and future of PATEL Napa Valley. Your private tasting will include barrel samples and current releases at the winery. Following your exclusive tasting, you and Raj will go to dinner featuring PATEL wines, of course, at an acclaimed Napa Valley restaurant. Three magnums of PATEL’s Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon are also yours to take home with you tonight!
Day Four:
Today you get your Sonoma on, with your first appointment at The Donum Estate. Donum is a leader in single-vineyard, single-appellation Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Northern California. Donum brings to life a delicate balance among fine wine, sustainable farming, and renowned global art that has made it an international destination. Discover all aspects of the Estate and winery with this experience that starts with a splash of one of Donum’s award winning wines and a walking tour of the Estate, followed by a private tasting of seasonal wines thoughtfully paired with canapés.
WALT Wines are crafted in a way that accentuates the specific qualities of the vineyards where they are grown. Their vineyards are located in the most prestigious locations in the Anderson Valley, the Central Coast, the Willamette Valley, and Sonoma and Napa Counties. So, while you are in Sonoma, why not swing by and meet WALT! Enjoy a flight of their single vineyard Pinot Noirs paired with carefully-curated seasonal bites by Sonoma Chef Bryan Jones. A must-do for the epicurean Pinot-phile!
Day Five:
As all good things must come to an end, so must your stay at Stanly Ranch. Alas, you’ll continue to relive your cherished Napa and Sonoma memories with every wine shipment that arrives in the future!
