Nashville Wine Auction Revels Details for Pairings: The Ultimate Wine and Food Weekend, February 26-28, 2015
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 7, 2015) – Nashville Wine Auction is excited to announce that Pairings: The Ultimate Wine and Food Weekend will take place on February 26-28, 2015 in Nashville, TN.
“We can’t wait to kick off our 2015 calendar with Pairings,” said Holly Whaley, President/CEO of Nashville Wine Auction. “For anyone who loves delicious food and fabulous wine, this is an event you don’t want to miss! We are thrilled to offer Nashvillians the opportunity to meet winemakers from the West Coast, as well as some of the country’s best chefs from Nashville and Brooklyn, all to help fund the fight against cancer. This will truly be a special weekend for food and wine lovers.”
On Thursday, February 26, California Wineries and local Nashville chefs will come together to host ten Private Vintner Dinners in private homes and restaurants throughout Nashville. These intimate dinners will allow guests an opportunity to meet celebrated winemakers, taste their mouthwatering creations and enjoy a multi-course meal from outstanding chefs.
On Friday, February 27, it’s time to get Wined Up! at MStreet’s premier entertainment venue, The Rosewall. Attendees are encouraged to come as they are and have fun tasting wine from 26 different wineries in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. While tasting through featured wines, attendees will enjoy delicious bites from MStreet restaurants, while participating in the Silent Auction, which will feature 100 lots of fine wines (including many large format bottles), special dinner parties and luxury items. Once the Silent Auction closes, attendees will be able to let loose as a live band will come on stage and rock the night away!
On Saturday, February 28, Pairings will culminate with the ultimate epicurean experience. Guests will enjoy a special wine reception at Citizen before moving to The Rosewall for dinner. Nashville chefs will team up with chefs from out of town to create a menu that perfectly pairs with special wines from featured vintners.
