Magnifique! Four Magnums of Grand Cru Burgundy

It’s no secret how much Burgundy is loved by wine collectors. C’est si bon, non? We are thrilled to be able to offer this special collection of magnums. But don’t take just our word for it…

Let some notable reviewers and publications introduce you to the promise these wines offer to one lucky bidder.

Benjamin Leroux Chambertin Grand Cru 2018

Robert Parker notes that it performs “brilliantly, exhibiting aromas of cherries, wild berries and cassis mingled with smoked meats, rich soil tones and spices. On the palate, it’s full-bodied, layered and velvety, with fine concentration, ripe structuring tannins and lively acids. Multidimensional and complex, this is an excellent Chambertin from Leroux.” (RP 93-95)

Domaine du Clos de Tart ‘Clos de Tart’ Grand Cru Monopole 2015

Parker proclaims the 2015 Clos de Tart Grand Cru to be “a monumental young wine, opening in the glass with a brooding bouquet of wild berries, peony, orange rind, licorice, espresso roast and spice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, powerful and multidimensional, with an enormous core of vibrant fruit, an ample chassis of fine tannins and a beautiful line of acidity. While the vintage has brought an extra dimension of concentration and power to this Clos de Tart, it remains wonderfully controlled through the long, palate-staining finish, and the terroir—including its proximity to Bonnes Mares—is front and center.” (RP 96)

Domaine Georges Lignier et Fils Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2016

Wine Spectator rates this rated this wine a 95 and notes that its “Cherry, plum, earth and spice flavors are accented by a vegetal hint in this muscular red, which may deter some, but given time this should develop into more floral and spice notes, along with the gamy qualities mature Burgundy can possess. Rides a nice line between smoothness and chewy density. Fine length.”

Are you prepared to fall in love with Burgundy all over again? Bidders, raise your paddles to amour!
