HOW TO Watch the Live-Stream Event
The live-stream event is best viewed on a larger device, and we suggest a Smart TV. You will need your mobile phone for bidding, so watching on your TV allows you to keep up with all the action while bidding in the auction.
Regardless of how you choose to watch, we strongly suggest testing your access in advance of the event to make sure it works. In addition, we encourage you to log on around 6:15 pm CST, before the Pre-Telecast, so you are connected when the fun begins.
There are 2 ways to watch:
1. Watch on www.NashvilleWineAuction.com
The event will be streamed on our website and may be accessed via any Web Browser. The streaming link will be up on the home page of the site about an hour before the event begins on Saturday, October 10.
To view the Live-Stream on your Smart TV via the NashvilleWineAuction website you may:
a. Go to the web browser on your Smart TV and type in www.NashvilleWineAuction.com which will take you to our website. The link will be up live on the home page.
b. Pull the website up on your Laptop Computer and connect your laptop to your television using an HDMI Cable. Plug an HDMI cable into the HDMI port on your computer and connect the other end to an HDMI cable on your TV. Here is aninstructional videoon how to set this up.
2. Watch on the YouTube App
The YouTube app comes installed on many new smart TVs. If you do not have it installed on your TV, it is available and compatible with Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Roku, iPhone/iPad, Web Browsers, Android Phone/Tablet, Android TV, Xbox, LG Smart TV, Samsung Smart TV, VIZIO Smart TV, and Amazon Fire TV.
To view the Live-Stream on your Smart TV via the YouTube app, open the YouTube App and search for The Virtual Nashville Wine Auction. The option to watch the Live-Stream Auction will come up in the search results when the link is live on October 10. For testing purposes in advance of the Live-Stream link being available, search for any video on YouTube and play it to test your connection.
While the best experience is viewing the live-stream event on a larger device, you can always watch on your desktop, laptop computer, mobile device, or tablet via any web browser. If you plan on bidding, just remember you will need one device for bidding and another for viewing the live-stream event.
In addition, you may cast either option listed above from your computer or mobile device; however, we do not recommend this option as you may experience delays or connection issues.
