From one summer’s eve in 1980 until now, we have hosted wine events and auctions in the Nashville, TN area to raise money for the battle against cancer. What started with Un Eté du Vin, “A Summer of Wine,” has grown into a successful non-profit organization known as Nashville Wine Auction. Generosity of Spirit: The funds raised at our events are donated to non-profit organizations for cancer research, patient treatment and family support. Because we are passionate about our community, all of our proceeds stay in Tennessee. If you would love to partake in an evening of glamour, generosity, good cheer and great wine, consider one of our auction events:
Only a handful of wineries come to mind when you think of Cult Cab from California. One is probably Bryant Estate, right? This lush, soft, textured, flavorful, powerful Cabernet Sauvignon with silky tannins is one of the finest that Napa has to offer.
Bryant Estate wants to send you three of their finest wines so that you can join them as Estate Director Tony McClung and President Bettina Bryant (or Winemaker KK Carothers) lead you through a virtual tour of the estate and tasting on June 25, 2021. If that isn’t amazing enough, winning bidders will have the opportunity to buy wine and secure a space on the allocation list… A nearly impossible to join list that currently has a three year wait.
If you’ve ever wanted a glimpse into the world of Cult Cabs, this is your chance! Opportunities to taste alongside the Bryant Estate team don’t come along… ever. Only a few spots are available (each spot has more than enough wine for 2-3 people). Buy your spot for this tasting before it sells out. This lot is worth the extra effort.
Bryant Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 (375ml)
Composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon entirely from the Pritchard Hill estate and aged in 90% new oak, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple colored and has a disarmingly profound red roses and red and black currant nose with wild blueberries and yeast extract accents plus tapenade, tilled soil, subtle exotic spices and pencil shavings and the faintest waft of lavender. The palate is ethereal in its weight with a medium to full-body supported by firm yet perfectly ripe, grainy tannins structuring the tightly wound savory layers and leading to a very long, fragrant earth finish. So poised, so classy, so Bryant. (100 points Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate)
Bettina Bryant Proprietary Red 2016 (375ml)
Aromas of blueberries, blackberries and flowers follow through to a full-bodied, dense and layered palate with lots of dark chocolate, hazelnuts and berries at the end. A hint of white pepper. Shows lots of tannins, but they are round and polished. (97 points James Suckling)
DB4 Red Blend 2017 (750ml)
The blend this year is 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot.
It was aged in French oak, 79% new, and bottled in July 2019. Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Proprietary Red DB4 strolls nonchalantly out of the glass with soft-spoken scents of baked plums, blueberry compote, and black currant cordial plus wafts of potpourri, fragrant earth, cinnamon stick and tilted soil. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has compelling mid-palate weight with bags of black fruit preserves and a sturdy frame of grainy tannins, finishing with lovely freshness. (92 points Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate)
