From one summer’s eve in 1980 until now, we have hosted wine events and auctions in the Nashville, TN area to raise money for the battle against cancer. What started with Un Eté du Vin, “A Summer of Wine,” has grown into a successful non-profit organization known as Nashville Wine Auction. Generosity of Spirit: The funds raised at our events are donated to non-profit organizations for cancer research, patient treatment and family support. Because we are passionate about our community, all of our proceeds stay in Tennessee. If you would love to partake in an evening of glamour, generosity, good cheer and great wine, consider one of our auction events:
Nashville Wine Auction is invested in the health of our guests and the overall community. All guests of Nashville Wine Auction events have the option to wear a mask anytime they are indoors. Please do not attend a Nashville Wine Auction event if you are not feeling well or have symptoms, irrespective of your vaccine status. If you have a condition that weakens your immune system or take certain medications, you may need to take extra precautions even if you are fully vaccinated, as instructed by your doctor. We care deeply about our community of supporters, cancer survivors, volunteers, and staff, and encourage everyone to take the necessary precautions for their health.
When it comes to a Bordeaux tasting, is there a group you’d trust more to put together the perfect lineup than the Commanderie de Bordeaux?
Ten guests will gather at 360 Bistro for a Bordeaux tasting from the brightest minds of the Nashville Commanderie.
The theme of the evening is 1990, one of the top vintages of the 20th century. The second hottest year of the century, second only to 1947, it was also the second wettest on record, surpassed only by 1989 in terms of rainfall. It also claims the record for the earliest start date of any vintage during that decade. And the wines only get better and better with age!
If you’ve had a 1990 from really any producer, you know it’s going to be rich, velvety, and one of the most sensual expressions of a Bordeaux wine. Starting with 1990 Dom Pérignon and moving through the best of Bordeaux to the Yquem finish line this lineup is as deep and focused as the wines themselves.
Taste the following 1990 wines:
