Wine Events Calendar

From one summer’s eve in 1980 until now, we have hosted wine events and auctions in the Nashville, TN area to raise money for the battle against cancer. What started with Un Eté du Vin, “A Summer of Wine,” has grown into a successful non-profit organization known as Nashville Wine Auction. Generosity of Spirit: The funds raised at our events are donated to non-profit organizations for cancer research, patient treatment and family support. Because we are passionate about our community, all of our proceeds stay in Tennessee. If you would love to partake in an evening of glamour, generosity, good cheer and great wine, consider one of our auction events:

Covid Protocol

Nashville Wine Auction is invested in the health of our guests and the overall community. All guests of Nashville Wine Auction events have the option to wear a mask anytime they are indoors. Please do not attend a Nashville Wine Auction event if you are not feeling well or have symptoms, irrespective of your vaccine status. If you have a condition that weakens your immune system or take certain medications, you may need to take extra precautions even if you are fully vaccinated, as instructed by your doctor.  We care deeply about our community of supporters, cancer survivors, volunteers, and staff, and encourage everyone to take the necessary precautions for their health.

Simply Bordeaux

August 16, 2019 @ 2:00 pm

This tasting is for the those who want to learn more about Bordeaux wines. It’s a comparison that’s methodical and exquisitely planned that it could only come from the minds of Pam and Steve Taylor. Lucky bidders will learn from the masters and truly experience Bordeaux wines the way they should be experienced.

We’ve got two amazing Bordeaux vintages, 2000 and 2005. Both vintages represent the pinnacle of what a great Bordeaux can be. We’ll do a side by side comparison of the vintages from four iconic wines. And we’ve got representatives from both Banks to really get a feel for the vintages.

From the Right Bank, we’ll delve into a 2000 versus 2005 La Conseillante. Representing the Left Bank, we have Rauzan-Ségla, Pichon-Baron, and Léoville Barton. From Pomerol to Margaux to Pauillac to St. Julien, this 2000 versus 2005 matchup is perfectly curated and ready for your palate!

2000 vs. 2005

Château La Conseillante, Pomerol

Château Rauzan-Ségla, Margaux

Château Pichon-Longueville au Baron de Pichon-Longueville, Pauillac

Château Léoville-Barton, St. Julien

And to top it all off, the tasting will be held at 404 Kitchen. Chef Matt Bolus, who honestly, we’d trust with any wine pairing ever, will be preparing the cuisine for the festivities.
