Wine Events Calendar

From one summer’s eve in 1980 until now, we have hosted wine events and auctions in the Nashville, TN area to raise money for the battle against cancer. What started with Un Eté du Vin, “A Summer of Wine,” has grown into a successful non-profit organization known as Nashville Wine Auction. Generosity of Spirit: The funds raised at our events are donated to non-profit organizations for cancer research, patient treatment and family support. Because we are passionate about our community, all of our proceeds stay in Tennessee. If you would love to partake in an evening of glamour, generosity, good cheer and great wine, consider one of our auction events:

Rhône 101: A Guided Tasting

September 15 @ 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm

The Nashville Wine Auction is excited to host another wine tasting class, with this one to be led by Preston Hunt, WSET III, Wine Manager of Frugal MacDoogal! This tasting will include a variety of wines from the Northern and Southern Rhône. Wine Advocate’s Joe Czerwinski recently noted that the Southern Rhône’s largest appellation, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, has “enjoyed an unprecedented run of success in recent vintages. From a 2021 article on the Northern Rhône entitled “Laissez les Bons Temps Rouler,” he described the vignerons as “rolling 7s, 11s and hitting their points.

Twenty lucky bidders will learn what all the fuss is about and gain a basic understanding of these incredible French wine regions. Preston will lead this group on a journey along the Rhône river and through some of the great appellations with a tasting featuring affordable wines!
