From one summer’s eve in 1980 until now, we have hosted wine events and auctions in the Nashville, TN area to raise money for the battle against cancer. What started with Un Eté du Vin, “A Summer of Wine,” has grown into a successful non-profit organization known as Nashville Wine Auction. Generosity of Spirit: The funds raised at our events are donated to non-profit organizations for cancer research, patient treatment and family support. Because we are passionate about our community, all of our proceeds stay in Tennessee. If you would love to partake in an evening of glamour, generosity, good cheer and great wine, consider one of our auction events:
“Cellar envy” is a real epidemic these days. Three of our most notorious Nashville collectors, Tom Black, Irv & Karin Lingo, and Bill & Sharon Piper, are opening their cellars and have graciously agreed to share their secrets to cellar success, teach their tricks of the “trade,” and share a few special bottles of their prized collections. 17 lucky bidders won an intimate, high-end experience of a lifetime at the 38th Annual l’Eté du Vin.
The Sunday afternoon tour begins at Table 3 for a glass of Champagne with Proprietor and Beverage Director, Elise Loehr. Elise is one of the most respected and knowledgeable sommeliers in the South and the perfect person to begin this tour.
Then, the winners will get some added tips from David Morgan, Grand Argentier and Maitre of the Nashville chapter of the Commanderie de Bordeaux and recipient of the 2015 Norman M. Lipman award.
After visits to the second and third cellars, the bus will return to the tour’s starting location. It’s bound to be both an informational and exciting experience!
