From one summer’s eve in 1980 until now, we have hosted wine events and auctions in the Nashville, TN area to raise money for the battle against cancer. What started with Un Eté du Vin, “A Summer of Wine,” has grown into a successful non-profit organization known as Nashville Wine Auction. Generosity of Spirit: The funds raised at our events are donated to non-profit organizations for cancer research, patient treatment and family support. Because we are passionate about our community, all of our proceeds stay in Tennessee. This is a tasting of Grand Crus from none other than Louis Jadot at the incredible 404 Kitchen!
In Burgundy’s Côte d’Or, where the integrity of the producer is more important than vineyard, Maison Louis Jadot is one of the most trusted and esteemed. A l’Eté du Vin Guest of Honor in 1995 and 2008, this illustrious producer has a special place in our hearts (and palates). As does Matt Bolus of 404 Kitchen. We’d consider this pairing a match made in heaven!
Start the evening with some 2007 Taittinger bubbles, the perfect way to kick off the festivities. The theme for the evening? A 2005 versus 2006 comparison tasting of Maison Louis Jadot Grand Crus. And to finish it off, Sauternes of course! Yquem ‘86 (or ‘90xx) to be specific.
