Champagne & Chardonnay and The Men’s Event

The Nashville Wine Auction Announces Locations, Sponsors and Featured Wines for its Popular Fall Fundraising Events

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Aug. 28, 2019 – The Nashville Wine Auction will hold the ninth annual Champagne & Chardonnay: A Sparkling Evening Just for Ladies on October 3, 2019. Also held on the same evening is the fifth annual Men’s Event: Honoring the Life and Spirit of Billy Ray Hearn.

Named Nashville’s “Best Women’s Party” in Nfocus Magazine’s readers’ polls for four of the past five years, Champagne & Chardonnay is a highly anticipated cocktail party where ladies enjoy a beautiful evening with their girlfriends while raising money to fund the fight against cancer. Co-chaired this year by Beth Fortune and Debbie Turner, the event will feature a Sparkling Silent Auction filled with fine wine, unique wine experiences and other luxury items. Champagne & Chardonnay will be hosted by Vicki Porter in her beautiful Bancroft Home. A fantastic selection of delectable cuisine will be provided by G Catering. [The address of this location will be provided to ticket purchasers upon purchase and to media upon RSVP.]

The Men’s Event will be held at Josephine restaurant in 12 South. This event started in 2015 and has since become a very popular event for gentlemen who enjoy red wine, big steaks and are eager to support the Nashville Wine Auction’s mission of raising money to fund the fight against cancer. The men will enjoy sharing favorite wines from their cellars as well as wines from Arista Winery, Fairchild Napa Valley, Memento Mori Winery and The Debate. Winery owners and representatives from these four wineries will be traveling to Nashville to share their wines in person. The culinary team at Josephine, led by Chef Andy Little, has planned an exceptional four-course dinner for the men.

Unique wine lots up for bid in the Silent Auction

“I’m particularly excited about the stellar wines we are serving at these fall fundraising events,” said Holly Whaley, President/CEO of the Nashville Wine Auction. “It’s an honor to have Lawrence Fairchild of Fairchild; Hayes Drumwright from Memento Mori; Rob McKay from The Debate; and Tome Escobar of Arista Winery sharing their delicious wines with guests of The Men’s Event this year. Additionally, Karin Ott and Brooke Barnett from Kistler Vineyards will be pouring their Chardonnay. Nashvillians Wendy Burch and Elise Loehr of The Wine Market will be bringing quality Champagne selections to share with the party guests. We are so grateful for the generosity of our wine donors. They are critical in helping us raise funds for our worthy beneficiaries.”
