We help you fight for more birthdays and help you get well by guiding you through every step of a cancer experience if you or someone you love is faced with a diagnosis. We find cures by supporting the best ideas of the brightest cancer researchers. We believe everyone deserves more birthdays, and we fight back by working tirelessly to rally lawmakers and communities to join our fight to save lives from cancer. Hope Lodge– Getting the right care sometimes means cancer patients must travel away from home, often to a cancer treatment facility in another city. The American Cancer Society makes this difficult situation easier with free, temporary housing accommodations for cancer patients and their families while undergoing treatment. Hope Lodge provides guests with private rooms, kitchen facilities, and transportation to treatments. The lodge has room for a family member to stay with the patient.
